Hi, I’m Neil. I’m a creative guide, artist, and designer. I help people see the essence of themselves and their ideas more clearly. Together, we subtract what isn’t necessary to find simplicity, order, and beauty. What’s left feels true, elegant, and alive.
Through my design studio Grafica, I create insightful strategy and memorable design for clients who want to grow with intention. And through my coaching practice Campfire, I help individuals move from chaos and confusion to the clear light the comes with being fully themselves.

I’m a designer, artist, and creative guide. The thread through my life’s work is revealing the essence of things through simplicity and beauty. Whether in a brand, a business, or a life, I help people uncover what’s essential, bring clarity and order to it, and share it beautifully with the world.

I’ve spent more than fifteen years in branding and design, including seven as co-founder and Creative Director of the award-winning studio Nonfiction. I’ve led work for startups, established institutions, and everything in between across education, nonprofit, banking, craft beverage, construction, technology, and the arts.

Today, I work at the intersection of creative strategy and personal clarity. As a designer and consultant, I partner with organizations and agencies to clarify positioning, elevate standards, and create thoughtful, enduring work. As a creative guide and coach, I help individuals reconnect with their deeper thread—subtracting what isn’t necessary so what remains feels true, elegant, and alive.

I live just outside Columbus, Ohio, with my family. I’m a husband, father, friend, reader, music lover, and explorer of both the internal and external landscapes.
